McKenry (abdomen) was activated from the DL at Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

After spending the spring with the big club as a non-roster invitee to major league camp, McKenry remained in Arizona at the start of the season to continue his rehab from an abdominal injury. With Robinson Chirinos (forearm) out for an extended period, there's a chance McKenry could eventually work his way into the conversation for a promotion, but Chris Gimenez (ankle) is inching closer to a return himself.
