McGee's (knee) Sunday bullpen session went well and he is optimistic he could return sometime later this week, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

EDGE Analysis

Considering how effective McGee is and that he's under team control for two more years, the Rays aren't likely to risk his health for 2016 on the last two weeks of a season where they are out of playoff contention. He should come back soon, but don't expect too much usage when he makes his return to the team.
