McGee walked two and allowed no hits while throwing 22 pitches in an inning during his second rehab appearance, per Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. The report also states McGee will need to make several more appearances, including one with multiple innings and others that are back-to-back to return to the Rays. The back end of the Rays' bullpen has pitched very well, with Brad Boxberger, Kevin Jepsen, and Steve Geltz all recording saves and ERA's well below 3.00. However, lefties have hit a better OPS against them, so McGee should be a useful weapon upon return.
