McGee (knee) could begin a minor-league rehab assignment early next week, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.

McGee has been sidelined for most of April with a left knee sprain. The southpaw recently resumed sprinting and is scheduled to throw bullpen sessions Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday before embarking on a minor-league rehab assignment shortly thereafter, assuming everything goes as planned.
