McGee (elbow) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. McGee has made progress over the last few weeks, but with the expectation that he won't face hitters until mid-April, he probably won't be ready to rejoin the Rays until the end of the month or some point in May.
