McGee (elbow) threw an inning in an extended spring training game Thursday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. McGee threw live batting practice earlier in the week, and his next step should be a rehab assignment. He may first throw a few more innings at extended spring training, but he's still on track to join the Tampa Bay bullpen in late April or early May.
