McGee (elbow) threw a scoreless inning for Triple-A Durham on Monday, MLB.com reports. With McGee making it through the outing unscathed, the lefty appears on track to be activated at some point this weekend. The lefty is expected to make another rehab appearance Wednesday, but manager Kevin Cash said seeing McGee pitch in back-to-back innings is no longer a priority. It's uncertain what role McGee will take on upon his return.
