McGee (elbow) said his bullpen session went well Saturday and he could pitch in a minor league game Tuesday, the Tampa Bay Tribune's R. Mooney reports. Look for McGee to begin a rehab assignment with High-A Charlotte on Tuesday if he feels good Sunday. This means he is nearing a return to the Rays' bullpen, as he may not require more than a few appearances in the minors before being activated from the DL.
