McGee (elbow) is expected to return to the Rays over the weekend, Matt baker of the Tampa Bay Times reports. McGee threw a scoreless inning in his final Triple-A rehab start and should be back in the Rays' bullpen within the next two or three days. With Brad Boxberger holding a firm grip on the closer job, McGee could end up as the set-up man upon his return.
