Padres left fielder Justin Upton robbed him of his 11th homer, but Cutch made a save of his own when he helped to rescue a grounds crew member who'd fallen into a whirling tarp during a rain delay. McCutchen extended his hitting streak to a career-high 14 games and lifted his batting average to .301, his highest mark since Opening Day.
