McCutchen went 0-for-3 with a walk while stranding four baserunners Thursday against the Reds. The center fielder usually sprints down the first base line after hitting ground balls, but he hasn't given his typical max effort thus far. Whether that's because of poor weather conditions in Cincinnati or because he's still not 100 percent remains to be seen. McCutchen is 6-for-14 with four home runs against Friday starter, Mike Fiers.
