McCann is out of the lineup Saturday against the Orioles. This appears to be nothing more than a routine rest for McCann, with a day game following a night game and McCann having started four in a row. John Ryan Murphy will step in behind the plate and bat ninth, but McCann should be back in there Sunday looking to improve upon his 4-for-27 mark so far in May.
