McCann is not in the starting lineup Saturday against the Rangers. With a day game following a night game, McCann will sit in favor of John Ryan Murphy for Saturday's matinee. Through 35 games this season, McCann's line very closely resembles his 2014 output, as he's now hitting .233/.290/.388 with four homers and 23 RBI. The drop in home runs can be attributed to a reduced HR/FB rate (8.3% compared to 12.2% last season) and that he's hitting the ball on the ground more frequently this season (38.3% GB%).
