McCann (elbow) will be behind the plate and bat fifth in the order Sunday against the Orioles, ESPN.com's Wallace Matthews reports.
EDGE Analysis
McCann had been out of the lineup the previous three days, but it looks like the time off was all that he needed to heal up from the hyperextended elbow. It's fortunate timing for the Yankees, as the team would have been in dire shape in the catching ranks had McCann not been available Sunday, as backup Austin Romine left Saturday's game with a hand injury.
