Maxwell is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels, Amy Gutierrez of CSN Bay Area reports. Maxwell has assumed the lion's share of the duties in right field for the Giants with Hunter Pence (forearm) unavailable, but he's begun to fizzle out from a promising start. He's recorded one hit over his last 15 at-bats, prompting manager Bruce Bochy to press the reset button. Maxwell will sit out Sunday in favor of Gregor Blanco.
