The Houston Astros placed catcher Max Stassi (knee) on the 10-day injured list on Sunday and recalled catcher Garrett Stubbs from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move. Stassi's knee is structurally sound, but the team didn't want to play short-handed.
