Matzek (2-7) allowed three runs on four hits over five innings as he took the loss, while giving up five walks on Friday against the Diamondbacks. The Rockies young rookie struggled most of the night with his control, although things could've been much worse if not for being bailed out after walking the bases loaded in the fifth inning. Matzek has really had some hard times on the road this season where he is now 0-4, with a 6.00-plus ERA.
