Matz will get the start for the Mets on Sunday for his major league debut, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Matz has been dominant at Triple-A this season with a 2.19 ERA and 94 strikeouts in 90.1 innings of work. The lefty prospect will join a very talented and young rotation that also features the likes of Matt Harvey, Jacob deGrom, and Noah Syndergaard. Matz should stick with the big league club for the time being as the Mets are reverting to a six-man rotation.
