Matz is expected to miss "at least several weeks" with a lat injury, Andy Martino of the New York Daily News reports. The Mets have not confirmed that Matz will miss time -- he's still listed as Sunday's probable starter on the team's official site -- but it sounds like a DL stint is a real possibility. If the lefty does wind up on the DL, look for New York to move back to a traditional five-man rotation coming out of the break. Matz acknowledged that he felt some tightness in his lat muscle in his big-league debut, but said that it didn't notice it in his last outing.
