Matz continued his fine pitching Sunday, tossing seven shutout innings, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out five. Matz lowered his ERA at Double-A Binghamton to 2.48 with the outing Sunday. He likely will finish 2014 at this level and begin 2015 at Triple-A Las Vegas with a possible call up to the majors sometime during next season.
