Matusz was activated from Triple-A Iowa's DL and was transferred to Double-A Tennessee on Tuesday, The Smokies Radio Network reports.

Matusz made two rehab starts for the AZL Cubs, Chicago's Rookie Ball affiliate, and tossed five scoreless innings while only allowing one hit and one walk. The 29-year-old will now head to Double-A Tennessee where he'll continue the 2016 campaign.
