Matusz signed a minor league deal with the Cubs on Tuesday, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Matusz was DFA'd by the Braves last month following a trade from the Orioles. the left-hander struggled through seven appearances for the O's, conceding 11 hits and eight earned runs over just 6.0 total innings. Matusz will likely land at Triple-A Iowa, where he'll look to get things straightened out in hopes of earning his way into the Chicago bullpen at some point later in the season.
