Matusz (back) will pitch 2-to-3 innings Tuesday with High-A Frederick, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

The team had previously indicated they were hopeful Matusz could rejoin the club after one more appearance on his rehab assignment, so the lefty could be activated later in the week assuming all goes well Tuesday. He figures to fill in as the Orioles' primary left-handed specialist once healthy.
