Matusz started the game and allowed a Double-A team to bat around the order. He would never have stayed in a game that long at the MLB level, but the damage was done. In three rehab appearances, Matusz has allowed seven runs in three innings. It was assumed that Matusz would make one more appearance on Tuesday before being activated Thursday, but after throwing 30 pitches we will have to wait and see if he gets used again in back-to-back days.
