Matusz threw four scoreless innings with nine strikeouts in his final rehab start Tuesday and the Orioles have been deliberate in stretching him out. It is interesting that the Orioles have taken that approach and that Saturday's open rotation spot would line up with Matusz's Tuesday outing, but the rumors that Matusz could start were debunked by Buck Showalter. Look for Matusz to rack up appearances out of the bullpen.
