The San Francisco Giants signed free-agent left-hander Matthew Boyd to a one-year, $5.2 million deal on Wednesday evening. The deal includes $2.3 million in incentives. Boyd becomes the fifth starting pitcher signed or re-signed by the Giants this offseason following Anthony DeSclafani, Alex Wood, Alex Cobb and Carlos Rodon.
