The Seattle Mariners acquired left-hander Matthew Boyd (elbow) from the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday. Boyd has yet to pitch in 2022 and was shut down in mid-June after he felt discomfort in his elbow while recovering from left flexor tendon surgery. The 31-year-old southpaw was cleared to resume throwing off a mound last week, though.
