Los Angeles Angels starter Matt Shoemaker (forearm) began his throwing program on Monday in Anaheim. Shoemaker has been on the DL since April 3 with nerve irritation, but reported 'drastic improvement' about a week ago. Assuming his throwing program goes well, he could be expected back in a month or so. Deep league owners will want to keep him on the radar going forward.
