Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Matt Shoemaker had a rough outing in Tuesday's 7-0 loss to the Athletics. Shoemaker lasted just 3 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on four hits with four walks compared to two strikeouts. The veteran hurler worked a scoreless first inning but ran into trouble in the second and fourth frames in the form of Mitch Moreland, who homered off of him twice.
