Matt Reynolds (elbow) is scheduled to throw Wednesday for the first time since being placed on the disabled list. Reynolds has been shut down for six weeks due to a slight tear in the ulnar collateral ligament of his left elbow. He'll start out by playing catch and will build up his workload as long as there are no setbacks, which is obviously no guarantee. The 28-year-old southpaw had a 1.98 ERA in 30 appearances prior to the injury.
