Matt Moore (elbow) will attempt to throw in 3-5 days before making a decision on whether to undergo Tommy John surgery. Moore has been diagnosed with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow, but he wants to try to pitch through the ailment, if possible. Of course, we all know how that usually goes. The odds of him ultimately avoiding surgery aren't good, whether the operation comes soon or a little down the road.
