Matt Moore allowed five earned runs in five innings Sunday as the Rays fell to the Yankees. Moore had problems from the get-go, yielding a first-pitch homer to Derek Jeter in a three-run Yankees first inning and another two runs in the third. The left-hander had been on a roll this month but looked pretty hittable on Sunday afternoon at Yankee Stadium. He escaped with a no-decision thanks to Wil Myers' two-homer day and will carry a 14-3 record, 3.41 ERA and 1.23 WHIP into his next start against the Giants at Tropicana Field.
