Los Angeles Angels infielder Matt Duffy (back) began his minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday and is expected to play there for a little more than a week. He left the game on June 26 and was dealing with tightness in his lower back, later being diagnosed with lower back spasms.
