Chicago White Sox designated hitter Matt Davidson will sit Wednesday. Davidson was in a bit of a slump prior to Tuesday's game when he hit a pair of doubles. Davidson is likely to return to the lineup Thursday. Outfielder Daniel Palka will be the designated hitter tonight and bat fourth. Palka is having a nice season, but has a tough matchup Wednesday versus Trevor Bauer.
