Chicago White Sox manager Rick Renteria said that he wanted to get designated hitter Matt Davidson some time on the field and that's why he put him at first base on Wednesday. First baseman Jose Abreu will serve as the designated hitter. Davidson hit three home runs on Opening Day and if you can stomach the batting, Davidson can help in the power department.
