Matt Carson will be recalled by the Twins on Friday. Carson is going fill the roster spot left vacant by Denard Span, who has been placed on the disabled list because of a sprained SC joint. Carson, a 31-year-old outfielder, went 8-for-21 in a stint earlier this season with Minnesota but is doubtful to carry any fantasy value.
