Matt Carpenter went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple in Thursday's win over the Mets. While Carpenter's 18-game hitting streak came to an end on Tuesday, he has now reached base in 22 straight games. His transition to second base has gone surprisingly well and he owns an impressive .327/.411/.478 batting line through 63 games. It would be a surprise if he didn't make the National League All-Star team next month.
