Matt Carpenter went 2-for-3 with a home run and a stolen base as the Cardinals beat the Royals on Tuesday. Carpenter also scored twice and worked a walk on the night. The second baseman is now hitting .309/.394/.455 through 49 games and has been one of the most pleasant surprises thus far in the fantasy season. He seems to be entrenched at the top of the Cardinals lineup, too, so he should continue his productive ways going forward.
