Matt Carpenter went 2-for-3 and swatted his 11th home run in Sunday's loss to the Brewers. Carpenter also scored a pair of runs in the game. His solo shot off Brewers starter Wily Peralta got the Cardinals on the board in the third inning. The magical season continues for the 27-year-old infielder who is now hitting .324/.396/.491 with 11 homers, a league-leading 123 runs scored, 77 RBI and three stolen bases.
