Matt Carpenter is getting his first career start at second base Sunday. Carpenter played second base almost exclusively during spring training, but he moved to the hot corner following David Freese's injury. With Freese due back Monday, most of Carpenter's playing time going forward should come at second. Ty Wigginton is at third base Sunday in what will be his first start of the season.
