Matt Cain surrendered three runs -- two earned -- on seven hits and two walks over five innings in a no-decision 5-4 loss to Arizona on Tuesday. The right-hander whiffed two. Coming off a rough spring (7.47 ERA), Cain at the very least succeeded in keeping the ball in the yard tonight, no small feat considering the competition, ballpark, and his 2013 struggles in that department. His next start comes on Sunday Night Baseball against Zack Greinke and the Dodgers.
