Matt Cain struggled in a no-decision against the Cubs on Sunday, surrendering five runs on six hits over his five frames. He struck out six and walked two on the afternoon. He cruised through the first four innings, allowing only one run, but the Cubs got to him in the fifth where David DeJesus delivered his second RBI single of the game and Alfonso Soriano launched a three-run homer. Still owning elite numbers on the season, Cain will take a 13-5 record and 2.98 ERA into Saturday's home tilt against the Dodgers.
