Matt Cain pitched seven scoreless innings Wednesday in the Giants' 6-0 win over the Diamondbacks. Cain allowed four hits, walked one and struck out six. He also went 2-for-2 at the plate to raise his average to .181. Cain is 6-0 over his last nine starts and 16-5 with a 2.77 ERA for the season.
