Matt Cain looked to be in mid-season form in Friday's victory over the Rangers, scattering two hits over five scoreless innings. Cain struck out two and didn't walk a batter in the game. After struggling early on in camp, he has been lights-out over his last three outings and looks rearing to go for his Opening Day assignment. As tremendous as he was in 2012, Cain could be poised for even better things in 2013 if he can continue his rise in strikeout rate.
