Matt Cain allowed three runs over three innings in Thursday's loss to the Mariners. Cain gave up four hits -- including a home run -- while striking out two and walking one. His line was a bit misleading, as Angel Pagan dropped a fly ball in center field which resulted in one run crossing the plate. After being hit in the knee by a comebacker during his last start, the most important thing is that he came away from the outing feeling good.
