Matt Cain allowed three runs on five hits over seven innings in Sunday's World Series Game 4 win over the Tigers. Similar to his last start, Cain was effective without his best stuff. Of his 102 pitches, just 67 were for strikes and he gave up two opposite-field home runs to Miguel Cabrera and Delmon Young. With five appearances this postseason, Cain's 2012 will end with a career-high 249-plus innings. The Giants have now won two World Series titles in the last three years.
