Matt Cain allowed just one run on five hits over 7 1/3 innings in Sunday night's win over the Dodgers. It was a much needed win for Cain, who had allowed a combined 14 runs in his last three starts. He likely wouldn't have allowed any runs if he had stayed in the game, but he left with a man on base and the Giants' bullpen wasn't able to bail him out. Cain had three walks on the night and finished with four strikeouts. His next start will come Friday against the Braves.
