Mat Latos surrendered three runs in six innings and struck out six Monday in a defeat of the Royals. Latos hasn't dominated at any point this season, but he's also managed to avoid giving up more than four earned runs in any of his 15 starts. On another team, he'd probably have better than a 5-8 record to show for it.
