Mat Latos still felt soreness in the flexor mass of his right elbow when he threw a bullpen session Friday. Obviously, he'll be shut down from throwing again and will be limited to getting treatment for the time being. It doesn't appear at this point that surgery is an option, but Latos certainly seems unlikely to be ready before the end of the month. Alfredo Simon will continue to hold down a spot in the rotation.
