Mat Latos scattered two runs and seven hits across seven innings of work Wednesday, improving to 5-2 in Cincinnati's 5-3 win over the Indians. Latos struck out seven and walked one in just his third quality start in seven outings. It's been slow going for Latos as he adjusts to life away from pitcher-friendly Petco Park, but he traditionally does his best work in the summer months. He remains a solid buy-low candidate.
